This small corner addition was built on to this house about 1955; however, the small crawl space foundation upon which it was built was poorly constructed and the footer was sinking. This sinking caused the addition to actually begin to fall away from the house. On the left side of the picture is a vertical piece of white painted wood, and the black line on its right side which looks like a wire running along it is actually a visible crack where the addition is separating from the original house.
